I did yesterday my 65. Birthday Fitness Challenge;
65 Miles cycling with 700 m elevation gain near London to
support Child’s Dream Foundation, Thailand 🇹🇭 to pay for
life saving operations for Asian children whose parents don’t have the money to pay. I finished the fitness challenge in good health and great spirits. It feels great😁☀️🚴♂️🎂🏆

AN UNEXPECTED CLOSE ENCOUNTER WITH A BIG ELEPHANT😀☀️🐘
On a recent self-drive safari in the Krueger National Park this
big elephant was suddenly standing in front of my car!
Luckily I remembered a tour guide’s advice: Keep always around 30 m distance
from elephants.If for any reason you get very close, just stay still, keep quiet,
don’t freak out nor drive back; the elephant might chase and possibly attack!
I stood still and kept quiet; After around 1 1/2 min the elephant walked off.
I will try this same behavior next time in my daily live when suddenly
an unexpectedly big “elephant” (Big unforeseen problem) crosses my way😁🐘

To celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary I and my wife visited last week Tromso, Norway. We were greeted by spectacular Northern Lights; the sky was literally dancing😁☀️
We were very happy but also on same time sad because some
countries are still at war. How wonderful would our world be without war.

MY FORECAST OF 2023, THE YEAR OF THE RABBIT😁☀️ 🐇 (Zodiac)
I see the following 3 characteristics of the Rabbit:
1. The rabbit is always hopping short distances and also rests very
often.
2. The rabbit always hops forward, never hops backwards.
3. The rabbit is often caught at night by the headlights of cars
and run over.
What does this mean for our daily life for 2023:
1. Be very active but also take regular short breaks.
2. Always go forward and be always positively forward looking.
3. In case you are caught in a “dangerous situation” immediately
get out to avoid being “run-over”.
Overall, 2023, the year of the Rabbit is going to be a good year😁☀️

I just did my this year’s Birthday Fitnesses Challenge in Pateley Bridge, Harrogate, cycling 64 Miles with 1,117 m elevation gain. I enjoyed the challenge a lot and finished in good spirits with still some energy left in my tank😁☀️😁☀️🚴♂️🏔
Turning 64 is GREAAAAAAAAAAAT - not even reached halfway of my journey in life!
